Molecular Disco

Video installation, sculptureThe work is a video and sound installation combining video footage and film with images of the neuro transmittors /signal substances directly taken from scientific research with single crystal x-ray diffraction. The project investigates what is going on inside the brain during different emotional states, in this particular case love & attraction. The both short videoloops start with a 3-d animation of the molecule Oxytocine. Oxytocine is a peptide/substance believed to play a crucial part in all human interaction, especially the long term bonding between 2 people.
