Pan Bamby - sueños y perspectivas
These drawings were made in Oaxaca, Mexico, on paper bags from the bakery. They became, as a series, a de facto record of breads eaten, mornings of sweat, dreamed nights and living daylights. The Pan Bamby drawings were exhibited at the Instituto de Arte Grafica de Oaxaca in 2001, with poetry reading by Ted Joans. Two pieces in this series now belong to the De Young Museum in San Francisco, gifts of collector Sandy Besser.
