Static Amusement - Coney Island

In September 2005, New York City announced the strategic plan for ConeyIsland neighborhood improvements such as new parking and a communitycenter, committing $83.2 million in funds to keep the projectsrolling. Recently, Thor Equities has purchased 14 acres of boardwalkland in the hope of building a $1.5 billion entertainment destination.Thor\\\'s plans include a mix of amusements, attractions, and housing. Some opponents claim that Thor Equities is less interested inamusement development, and is instead just waiting for the city tomake a zoning change that will allow residential development in hopesof being able to \\\'flip\\\' the properties for a substantial profit. I chose the moment that attractions in the amusement park are notmoving during their opening hours in a foggy day for shoot this project. The attractions in the fog give me a feeling of unclear existence which is the situationof the amusement park nowadays with the strategic city plan. Thoseattractions were symbol of Coney Island. Cyclone used to have a longline to ride. The place has been entertained many people especiallychildren for long time. Now, those amusements stay calm without moving. What does make people go away from a joy and welcome the development?
