These works originate from my interest in restoration; where history is preserved, process is revealed and achievements of the past are maintained for the future. On another level, they may be seen as art objects that critique the sanitizing of place, making it safe smooth and clean; or possibly a new hybridized or stylistically poached \\\"thing\\\".
