This is a series of very small paintings and very large installations related to and incorporating the very small paintings..This body of work is about an imaginary but humbling excursion to many different planetary environments, across a vast universe of possibilities. Involved in this imaginary journey are experiences with and studies of extreme weather conditions, certain conflicts with adverse living forces, the joy and wonder of creation, the shock of destruction, vanishing familiar realities, the mystery of the unkown... and an unending source of discovery...
