Red above, Red beyond, Red all over

This series is the second in a trilogy of explorations of femininity in the urban landscape. Juxtaposing the harsh urban scenery of asphalt, concrete, metal and glass with a colorful, soft and otherworldly feminine presence invoking the powers of nature and magic through ceremony, plays with a fragile tension. This series was created during my participation in the Makor Artist in Residence program, Fall 2006-2007.
