Paisagens de São Paulo

From January 26 to February 28, the Curator of the Collection of Treasures of the State of Sao Paulo held the exhibition 'Paisagens de Sao Paulo', which brings together 47 works by renowned artists such as grinding wheels, Gregory Gruber, Alfredo Volpi, Yugo Mabe, Bonadei, Camargo Freire, Julio Guerra, Benedito Calixto, Nicola Petti, Joseph Ianelli, among others. About Panorâmica Altino Arantes (2009) Panorâmica Altino Arantes is a work that belongs to the set of investigations into the look and landscape, with specific focus on panoramic images of 360 º views of places and external affairs, proposed by Panoramic Project 360, launched in 2006. This work is related to Panoramic 360 ° (2007), showing some changes in hand with the passage of time to be compared. One of these changes can be seen on the roof in the foreground at the edges of the image, without notice boards, reflecting the law and control of urban pollution clean-visual, promulgated in this range. To produce this image I used a wireless phone (Motorola RAZR V3) with greater capacity to capture and better image resolution. The sensor of this device has a high sensitivity to light gathering, often distorting the brightness in the case of nighttime images, or colors, as pictured above, in the tone of the purple sky and clouds. The image was enlarged and installed in the entrance hall to the exhibition. Until February 28, 2010 Palácio dos Bandeirantes - Avenida Morumbi, 4500 - Gate 2 Information: 2193.8282 - monitoria@sp.gov.br www.acervo.sp.gov.br Open to public from 10 to 17 hours - Tuesday to Sunday. Free.
