Map of a Throat Journey: Sings, Voice, Gasp, Tongue, Gulp, Chorus, Roar (Mapping the Melbourne Fringe Festival)

The Mapping Room, stationed at Headquarters sees nine artists mapping The Melbourne Fringe Festival. Creating a drawing tool box out of an old fridge I take the fridge between festival venues complete with inked up tennis balls. The balls roll around on the City of Melbourne Street Maps becoming creating documentation of the movement of the journey. The maps will then be hung inside Headquarters for a seminar discussion on Human Geography and modern forms of mapping. For the first week of The Fringe Festival I will drive to the title of different events based on themes: The Body, Woman, The Throat, Light and The Divine.   The following Photographs are taken outside each of the different venues on The Throat Journey.
