Centrifuge: art prize

Centrifuge is an extensive collaborative project based on research, discussion, critique and travel. It took as its starting point a trip to Documenta 12 in Kassel, Germany, August 2007 and has continued to develop since through on-going dialogue between approximately twenty artists based throughout the north of England. Through this process we have negotiated a discursive international art prize for which a shortlist of artist and non-artist nominees has been raised by the group.
