     More than Anything I love field guides. I love their functionality: their size, their jam
packed-ness, their knowledge of what to simplify and what to describe in meticulous
detail. They are usually filled with great art and great design. They are treasured, and
weatherworn and passed on to people who might find them useful.  
 
     In my art I try to emulate some of these field-guide  qualities; To be candid, to be
brief, to be funny, to be useful , to be well-made but not too precious, and to be
sharable.  
 
      I work in a variety of materials, most recently focusing on paper cutouts, and Ink and
watercolor Illustrations.
