This week we are featuring the artist Igor Toshevski and his installation “Perfect Balance (30 kg of human rights)” which he made for a group show called “Words, Objects, Acts”.  Igor was born in 1963 in Skopje, he graduated from printmaking at the Kuvataide Academy in Helsinki in 1988.  During the 1990's he started to focus more on social and political issues.  

This is what he says about his work:

The installation consists of a dozen scales and approx. 30kg of documents retrieved from UN, Amnesty International etc. dealing with victims of torture, missing people and minority reports.
