Cindy Tsai is an artist whose practices encompass interdisciplinary art production and academic research. Video has been her most recent expression in art. She performs for the camera, often focusing on an object or material, to create a metaphor of her coping with distant intimacy and digital humanities.

Cindy was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and has studied in the States for 12 years. She recently received her MFA from Tufts University / School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She currently lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts.
