About
Biography
Marie-Andrée Pellerin (Montreal, Canada) has a double training in art and architecture. After she has completed an Architecture degree at University of Montreal, she lived in Berlin (2009-2010) for one year where she orients her work towards urban art. Back in Montreal, she pursues her researches in Fine Arts at Concordia University. In 2011, she exhibited her work at the FOFA Gallery and took part in the Montreal High Lights Festival during the Nuit Blanche 2011. In 2012, she completed a five-month stay in several european cities, including Marseille, Cannes, Brussel, Bucharest and Bologna. During this time, she was, amongst others, invited for a one-month residency at Bucharest-AIR in Romania and to present her work in a solo exhibition at La Tangente Gallery in Marseille (May 2012). Her practice takes place at the cross-roads of architecture, urbanism and art and incorporates installations, urban interventions, sculptures and video.
