Mariana Madeira was born in 1986 in Portugal. Graduated in Visual Arts in Algarve, Portugal, with an exchange program in Munich, Germany. Since 2007 has been participating in exhibitions in Portugal, Germany and Holland with paintings, sculptures, video and installation. Her work has been focusing questions about social  and politic problems, when war is an issue, as well is interested in mapping and architecture, and communication. These items are connected through questions that the author makes, that are developing by her process of work. As well, her concept and ideas are growing in a connection with her process of work that is linked with life and dead communication, observing this as a perfomance.
