Ioannis Xenakis is researcher and artist. His reaserch interests are in theoretical system-semiotic models in order to explain the aesthetic experience, preference, and judgment through the interaction process. His  artwork constitutes an inquiring effort of union of form with shapeless, real with fantastic. It begins from his need of exploring the two worlds in order to passage from the one to the other.

He is a Phd candidate and lecturer in the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the Aegean University in Greece
