Wooloo is developed by the artist group Wooloo.

The Wooloo group was founded in 2002 and operates through the medium of social experimentation. Mixing digital communication with physical participation, Wooloo has developed a working method based on the advocacy of collectivism.

Wooloo’s first work was an online experiment in community: the ongoing WOOLOO.ORG website, that currently connects the resources of more than 20,000 cultural producers in 150 countries.
More recently, the group organized the housing of three thousand activists with private families during the UN climate change summit in Copenhagen in December 2009. Supplying the infrastructure for visitors to come and voice their opinion - and for strangers to share their homes and experiences - this Wooloo project was a large-scale exercise in communal cooperation.

Wooloo has exhibited and implemented their works in public space, as well as at Artists Space (New York), Third Guangzhou Triennial (Guangzhou & Beijing), White Box (New York), Manifesta 8 ¬- the European Biennial of Contemporay Art (Murcia), Kunsthal Charlottenborg (Copenhagen) and Momentum - the Nordic Biennial for Contemporary Art (Moss) among other places.
