--Al Hatter believes that art is life, there is no ending or finishing point, just a continual process. He capture those magical moments of life, from the obvious that can be seen with the eye, to the visionary that is perceived by the heart and spirit.--Throughout his first stage he was deeply influenced by the great masters of European painters, mainly post-renaissance.-- The great change in his pictorial path took place in Venezuela in 1993 in the Caribbean; he discovered the tropical lights and colours, which allowed him to accomplish a major change in his style. He offers an amazing lyricism by acrylic colours, graded from warm to cool, as well as from light to dark, weaving the layers together to form the impressionistic signature of his paintings, this makes it possible for him to continue, ad infinitum, to the extent of his own universe.
