Scrapped Magazine collects emerging artists working in all media to contribute art work based on a quarterly theme for each issue. We present artistic endeavor and interpretation not only by showcasing the current work of talented artists, but also by commissioning original work for Scrapped. For each issue, artists are selected to work either independently or collaboratively to make pieces inspired by the issue's chosen theme, and in come cases, for specific recurring features like a “How-To” section. We especially value interdisciplinary art collaborations: poetry paired with painting, photography with sculpture, drawing with short fiction.

Virtual and physical issues of the magazine provide different viewing platforms; while the webzine has total accessibility and interactive features, we foresee the limited edition print runs of each issue becoming collectible art objects in their own right.
