Julia grew up in a small town in Germany and came to Melbourne, Australia in 2005 to study Fine Art at the VCA, where she is currently completing her degree in the Painting Department.
Always interested in design and architecture she quickly discovered that Melbourne is a source of inspiration and the place to be for doing art.
Theobalt currently uses reflective materials, light and painting to investigate the ideas around Hard Edge Abstraction with Pop, Minimalism and Installation practices.
