C/O Berlin is the cultural forum for photography and since 2001 has been an integral part of the Berlin cultural scene. The objective of C/O Berlin is to develop projects conceptually and structurally, then take them through to completion, working with a purposeful, holistic vision to produce creative, unconventional solutions which go beyond state funding and business interests. Architecture, design and photography – as a private cultural institution, C/O Berlin combines these artistic disciplines in a special way.
C/O Berlin organises and coordinates photography exhibitions which are international, up-to-date and widely varied in nature. In these ways, C/O Berlin opens up the multifaceted medium of photography to a wide public. The exhibitions and their topics are supplemented by an extensive programme of lectures, guides, discussion rounds and workshops.

C/O Berlin organises and coordinates photography exhibitions – international, up-to-date and wideranging. The focus of the exhibitions is mainly on reporting or journalistic photography. A further focus is on young, contemporary photography with a thematic basis. In addition to the exhibitions, C/O Berlin presents a varied programme of accompanying events. Guided tours, lectures and discussions with the artists throw light on individual topics and points of view, and turn the idea of a lively forum into reality.
The exhibition rooms are open Wednesday to Sunday from
11.00 am to 7.00 pm.
